BEGINNING A PRESENTATION
As a class, we are going to create a four slide powerpoint presentation. Afterward, you will create your own.
1. Click on start
2. Click on programs
3. Click on Microsoft PowerPoint
4. Then you will see the following dialog box:

5. Click on the radio button that says blank presentation and click OK.
6, You will see the following dialogue box.
7. Choose Title Slide and click ok.
8. Click in the Title box and type Powerpoint Tutorial.
9. Click in the subtitle box and type Created by (your name)
10. Click on Insert, New Slide.

11. Click on Text and Clip Art.

10. Click on click to add title and type Learning Powerpoint.
11. Click on click to add text and type three bullets
12. Next click on double click to add clip art. Find a picture you like.
13. Click on Insert, New Slide. Choose title only.
14. Click to add title and type Sound is a wonderful thing.
15. Click on Insert, Movies and Sound, Sound from gallery. Choose a sound for your slide.
16. Now let's add color.
17. Click on View, Slide Sorter.
18. Click your first slide and then shift click the other two to select all three at once.
19 Click on Format, apply design template.
20. Choose one of the templates and click Apply to apply it to you slides.
21. Now let's add some motion to our presentation.
22. Make sure your slides are all selected. Then click on Slide Show, Slide Transition.
23. Choose a transition and then click apply to all.
24. The last thing we have to do is add action to our bullets.
25. Double click on slide 2 to select it.
26. Click on Slide Show, Custom animation.
27. There are three tabs we need to pay attention to. Tab one is Effects. Click on Text 2 and choose an entry effect. In the section that says Introduce text, make sure that you have it grouped by the 5th paragraph and the text is coming in all at once.

28. Tab 2 is Order and Timing.
Make sure that Text 2 is in animation order.
Now we are ready to play the show. Click on Slide Show, View Show.
