Welcome Back!

I want to welcome everyone back to another school year. This year you are going to learn about some exciting things such as:

1. Microsoft Word - to type assignments, write letters, and create resumes. 2.Microsoft Excel - to create tables, spreadsheets, and more.
3. Mircrosoft PowerPoint - To create presentations
4. You will learn more about the Internet

But before we jump into these topics, I need you to do the following for me.

When you are finished, raise your hands and I will come around to check your work:

1. Can you name the different parts of a computer?
2. How do you save or open a file to a diskette or hard-drive?

Knowing the parts of a computer and knowing how to create, open and save a file are very important. Knowing how to accomplished the above tasks will allow students to become better prepared for the topics that we will explore this year!
