Artifact Reflection:
This project has given me the opportunity to improve my ability to use the Macromedia Dreamweaver program. I have gained a better understanding of how to use Dreamweaver; therefore, increasing my ability to engage students in the activities I present. I also now have the knowledge to teach my students how to use Dreamweaver to create their own web pages or a classroom web page. Since this particular activity was based on professional development, I am returning to school with a program I will use during an institute to increase teacher use of reading strategies in all classes.

Rationale:
ISTE-TF.1 - This project shows an in-depth understanding of the program Dreamweaver and how to use it effectively to teach others. It includes some advanced program techniques. It is a multiple page internet document.
ISTE-TF.2.A - This project allows teachers to work at their own pace and complete assignments in a group setting. This allows teachers who are unsure of the technology to consult others who may feel more comfortable.
ISTE-TF.3 - This project allows teachers to access the curriculum web from home or school which affords them more time to complete the assignment. It also, requires less lecture and more hands on learning which provides teachers with an opportunity to walk away from the inservice with a product ready for their classroom.
ISTE-TF.5 - This curriculum web was based on the professional development of teachers. It was created to enhance teacher use of reading strategies in the classroom. It also helps teachers see that the use of technology can be very engaging for students through their own use and engagement in a project.

Course Reflection:
1. What new learning occurred for you in this course?
- I increased my knowledge of Dreamweaver. I learned more tips and tricks about how to build a web page.
2. Indirectly, what did your students and/or other teachers learn from this course?
- Teachers in my school now have a web resource that allows them to access a group of strategies. This allows for the teachers in EJH to be consistent in the strategies across the curriculum.
3. What did you learn that will help you address diverse student needs and promote equitable access to current technologies?
- I think using webquests help make the connection between teacher-led instruction and self-directed learning by students. Webquests also provide students will multiple methods of assessment which can allow students to capitalize on their strengths.
4. How would you design professional development for other teachers who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills related to the goals of this course?
- I would take some time to talk about the different components of a webquest. Next I would share some well written webquests. On the second day, I would have teachers come back with their big idea and then begin creating a webquest for their classroom. I would also make sure the teachers met once a quarter to create a new webquest that fit with their curriculum.
5. How has this course enabled you to take a leadership role in your school or district?
- This course has helped me take a leadership role in my district because I can help troubleshoot district website problems. It also has helped me stand out in the eyes of my peers. Many times when they have a question about how to use or create a webquest, they will come to me for advice.
